Now It Can Be Told! Way back in June, 2017, I wrote a story featuring the Dell/Public Domain character called The Voice and submitted it to Dave Noe and the fine folks at InDELLible Comics for possible inclusion in their Popular Comics revival comic, All-New Popular Comics (aka PopCom). The story was swiftly accepted (thanks guys!) and the hunt began for an artist. Well, it took until last spring (2020 had a few nice days, after all), but it was well worth it because we found the perfect (beyond perfect, actually) for out Golden Age throwback tale: Truman Vasco. Truman has a cool, singular style--and on top of his penciling and inking skills, he can letter and color like no other! Dig this snazzy splash page!
The storytelling, acting, and details Truman puts into his art just blew my socks off! I think you're socks are in danger, too, if you get your hands on All-New Popular Comics #5, which is on sale now on Amazon!
